Born in Montreal to Taiwanese parents, I create enso circles - aptly named Ensoscape - in sumi ink, acrylic paint and 24k gold leaf.
Inspired by mindfulness, my art nurtures a deeper connection with yourself by bringing a gentle awareness and understanding to your life. My influences stem from psychology as well as wabi-sabi philosophy and the concept of kintsugi - accepting imperfection as part of life and embracing your flaws with your strengths wholeheartedly. I explore the emotions that arise from chaos and suffering before transforming them into serene reflections of inner peace, healing, strength and resilience.
I graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History. After art school, I continued my education in finance, then spent the next decade in the dynamic world of private wealth management before leaving it all behind to become a full-time artist in 2021. I’m currently training to become a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher. I look forward to expanding my services to teach courses and workshops in addition to offering art that promotes harmony and peace.
Outside of my private home studio in Montreal, I’m a dedicated dog mama to my two shiba inus, Skyloh and Skia. I practise meditation, yoga and collect pet-friendly plants. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, hosting dinner parties and baking for my favorite people.
