Collection and Use:

While using the Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, address, telephone number, email address and payment information (“Personal Information”).

For example, your information is collected when you join The Inner Circle newsletter, fill out a webform or enter your information on the Site.

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Site ("Log Data").

This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

Communication:

  • Signing up to The Inner Circle newsletter

    There are two ways to consent to opting in to The Inner Circle newsletter:

    • By entering your name and email address when you sign up to The Inner Circle on our Site.

    • By personally giving the artist, Johanna Chaw, verbal and/or written permission to add your name and email address to The Inner Circle. If you choose this option, rest assured that your information is safely kept and will remain confidential.

    We respect your privacy and value your time. We commit to being spam-free. As part of The Inner Circle, you will periodically receive emails on upcoming collection releases, studio updates and other exclusive offers.

    We use Mailchimp as our email marketing platform. By subscribing to The Inner Circle, you agree that we process your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

    Should you wish to opt out of The Inner Circle, you can do so anytime by following the “unsubscribe” link in the emails to The Inner Circle or by contacting us.

  • Email correspondence

    • If you purchase an original artwork or a limited print from our store, we may send you emails to confirm your purchase, to give you an update on your order and, if needed, to inform you of any matters that may arise regarding the transaction.

  • Client Photographs and Testimonials

    If you send us a photograph of a purchased artwork in your home or business, we would love to share it online but only if you give us permission to do so. We will ask for your consent prior to posting and confirm any details we are allowed to share online. The same applies if you provide a testimonial. If needed and to protect your privacy, we will typically only share your First Name and the first letter of your Last Name (e.g. Johanna C.), unless you consent to using your full name. You can also be referred to as an anonymous client if you consent to sharing your photograph and/or testimonial online.

    Upon receiving your consent, your photograph and/or testimonial may be used on the Site, in an email to The Inner Circle and on social media (e.g. Instagram/Facebook). We will only tag you on social media if you consent to it. The details of posting your photograph and/or testimonial online will be discussed in advance only if we have your permission to do so.

  • If you do not consent to us sharing your photograph or testimonial online, rest assured that we will respect your decision and your privacy. There is no pressure whatsoever to consent to sharing your photograph or testimonial online. We are simply grateful that you took the time to send us a picture and/or share your feedback with us!

Disclosure:

We may disclose your Personal Information if we are required to do so by law. We may also disclose your Personal Information if you violate our Terms & Conditions.

Third-Party Services:

We will never sell your Personal Information with third-party providers. Any Personal Information that you provide on this Site, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and payment information, will not be shared with third-party providers *except* for the ones that are currently being used:

  • Squarespace - website building and hosting platform

  • Mailchimp - email marketing platform

  • Stripe/Paypal- e-Commerce payment processors
